Privacy Policy
Cygates Corporation (“Cygates”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through cygates.net, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the rights you have under Republic Act No. 10173, the Data Privacy Act of 2012, and its Implementing Rules and Regulations.

02Information we collect
When you send a Request a Quote form, we collect:
- your name and email address,
- your mobile number (optional),
- the service you are interested in, and
- the details you write in your inquiry.
When you browse the site, our web host automatically records standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of visit) for security and troubleshooting. The site also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address to deliver them.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not ask for sensitive personal information. Please do not include sensitive information (such as government ID numbers, health or financial details) in your inquiry.
03How we use your information
- To reply to your inquiry and prepare a quotation or proposal.
- To communicate with you about the project or services you asked about.
- To keep records of inquiries for business follow-up and accountability.
- To keep the website secure and working properly.
We process your information based on your consent when you submit the form, and as needed to take steps you request before entering into a contract with us. We never sell your personal information.
04Where your information is stored and who can see it
Quote requests are saved to a private Google Sheet and sent as an email notification to our team, both within our Google account (Google LLC acts as our service provider). The website itself is hosted by HostGator. Only authorized Cygates personnel who need the information to respond to you can access it.
We share personal information only with these service providers, when required by law or a lawful order, or with your consent. Because our service providers may store data on servers outside the Philippines, we rely on their security and contractual safeguards to protect it.
05How long we keep it
We keep inquiry information only for as long as needed to respond to you, carry out any resulting engagement, and meet legal or reasonable record-keeping requirements. After that, it is deleted or anonymized.
06How we protect it
Form submissions are sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to our records is limited to authorized personnel and protected by account security controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable organizational, physical and technical measures to protect your information.
07Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, you have the right to:
- be informed about how your personal information is processed;
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- object to processing, and withdraw your consent;
- have inaccurate information corrected;
- have your information erased or blocked where processing is unlawful or no longer needed;
- obtain a copy of your information in a commonly used format (data portability);
- be indemnified for damages caused by unlawful processing; and
- file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.

08Children
Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
09Links to other sites
Our site may link to other websites, such as our Facebook page or Google Maps listing. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.
10Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Effective” date at the top shows when it was last changed. Significant changes will be posted on this page.
